Overview

Emma is 30, single and frankly desperate. She woke up this morning with nothing to look forward to but another evening of unsuccessful speed-dating. But now she has a new weapon in her quest for Mr Right. And it's made her almost perfect.

Gwen Cooper woke up this morning expecting the unexpected. As usual. She went to work and found a skeleton at a table for two and a colleague in a surprisingly glamorous dress. Perfect.

Ianto Jones woke up this morning with no memory of last night. He went to work, where he caused amusement, suspicion and a little bit of jealousy. Because Ianto Jones woke up this morning in the body of a woman. And he's looking just about perfect.

And Jack Harkness has always had his doubts about Perfection.

Featuring Captain Jack Harkness as played by John Barrowman, with Gwen Cooper, Owen Harper, Toshiko Sato and Ianto Jones as played by Eve Myles, Burn Gorman, Naoki Mori and Gareth David-Lloyd, in the hit series created by Russell T Davies for BBC Television.

I have read all the available Torchwood books. This is a great read. It's funny and true to the characters. It follows the storyline of Torchwood the series. This one is my favorite. It is funny, exciting and has a great story to tell. Even if you don't watch the show this book is appealing. The story is about a woman named Emma, and what she wouldn't do to be perfect. Let's just say.....she does a lot to be perfect and to find that "perfect" man!!!

Ok as soon as I saw that Ianto was a woman I knew I needed this book! And it was well worth the wait. The story was well told, even though there was a bit too much Gwen for my liking. The aliens were innovative, bordering on the avante gaurd, and I was sad when they had to be defeated. My favorite parts in this are definately the Ianto/Jack bits. They were very cute and I love me some Janto! I think that it was an honest interpretation of what would happen if someone who was a guy woke up and found he had lost a major part of his anatomy the night before and replaced it with something else. Great read for Torchwood fans!
