Overview

Best friends, Grace Thore and Evelyn McKormick have spent their lives pretending to be someone they are not. Their childhood dreams of becoming pilots in the U.S. Army forced them to make a decision as teens to hide their sexual orientation. As they succeed in the Army and are sent on a 4 month course in Canada, to train a unit in the Canadian Air Force, their lives are forever changed. Evelyn's world is turned upside down the day she meets a Canadian Army nurse Polly. Polly Quin has never been forced to hide the way Evelyn and Grace have. Polly shows them what life as an open lesbian is like. Evelyn and Polly are captivated by one another, but Evelyn is unsure how this will affect her life back home at Ft. Rucker, AL. When The 3 of them are all deployed to Afghanistan their worlds are rocked to their cores. Through their journey these 3 women are pushed to their breaking points. They are forced to realize what is truly important, what true love is, and what its like to really be free and live.
