Editorial Reviews

romancejunkies.com
"A thrilling story about an extraordinary man and how love changes (his) views of the world around him and what he has to do to continue contributing to the balance of nature. Victoria...is willing to defy all her teachings to support the man she loves. This will take you on a journey into the strange and unknown and leave you wondering about what we really know about nature and how it works. I recommend this to everyone who enjoys a story that combines the paranormal with a whirlwind romance."

Meet the Author

I've written numerous plays, including Constant State of Panic, Pieces of Whitey, Blinders, and Reading the Mind of God, which have been staged in theatres across the country. My first novel, Tornado Siren, was published by Behler Publications in 2006, and is now published as an ebook on Smashwords and other sites.

I like to start things: I helped startBoston's Rhombus Playwrights writers' group, the Chameleon Stage theatre company in Denver, the Bare Bones Theatre company in New York, the publication Market InSight... for Playwrights, and the on-line Playwrights' Submission Binge.

My plays are published by Playscripts, Brooklyn Publishers, Heuer, Smith & Kraus, Original Works Publishers, and Volcano Quarterly.

I am a member of the Dramatists Guild and a board member of StageSource. My radio plays have been broadcast on NPR and elsewhere. I blogs about the writing life at The Writing Life x3.

Both Blinders and Reading the Mind of God were nominated for Best New Play by the Denver Drama Critics Circle. Awards I've won include the Colorado Arts Innovation Award, a Playwriting Fellowship from the Colorado Council on the Arts, the Festival of Emerging American Theatre, the New American Theatre Festival, the In10 UMBC Competition, and the Market House Theatre One-Act Play Award.

    Awesome and long

I think that this book is really amazing. It tells u about what the siren dose and what it is meant for and it was meant for the tornado warrning. So it was tecknettly is is for a storm with a torndo on the ground or for alot of tornadose that mite be on the ground. The siren is for storms that are really bad like the one we had last year and rango was comeplettly gone or destroyed in that case. So i think hat his book gives lots of information on what a tornadoe siren it for so yep i think that i am done now lets see.................yes. By:Kristine and i am in 5th grade.

    Wow! Nicely done.

"Tornado Siren" is a delightful mix of relationships, weather, romance, science, geography and adventure. The author is an accomplished playwright (I have seen several of his works performed), and his first novel reflects his considerable experience in storytelling. He has a unique ability to weave a story on a basic framework and then let the characters evolve in the reader's mind. This wonderful wordsmith has produced a delightful novel...and now we can look forward to his next.

    Fascinating Book

I love this book! It's a beautiful romantic and mystical story that you don't want to end. It is beautifully written and has well developed and really interesting characters. I wish the author would write a sequel.
