Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Part of the "Touch and Feel" series of board books, this offering features an appealing array of objects found around the home. The progression includes a teddy bear with a fluffy tummy, soft curtain, rough towel, furry kitten and a shiny mirror. Not a particularly good choice to teach the concept since shiny is usually associated with sight rather than touch and I wouldn't associate fluffy with a teddy bear. It could have been a slick mirror and a fuzzy or soft teddy bear. Also in the series are Farm, Wild Animals, and Clothes.
Children's Literature - Susie Wilde
Children love stickers and Dorling Kindersley gives them plenty of opportunity to play and learn with sticker activity books. This sixteen-page book comes loaded with bright, colorful photographs and forty reusable stickers. There are a dozen titles in the "Sticker Activity Book" series.

    Great Tactile Book!

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves this book. The realistic picture balance well with the character dinosaur books he already has. He looks being able to feel the different textures. Would recommend to anyone.

    Touch and Feel: Farm

I thought this book was excellent. I work with babies, and they always enjoy touching things, which is good for sensory!! They just love it, they always pull it off the shelf or the other touch and feel: baby animals book. They always want to look at those books, because they enjoy touching the different animals. A lot of them like the dog!! This book is good for kids learning the names of the animals or have some sensory issues!!

    Fuzzy Farm

This is a good touch and feel farm book. It is great for children who like touch and feel books. It doesn't really have a story line, it just shows farm animals. There are no illustrations just photos. A good book none-the-less.

    Great touch-feel book

My two year old has had it for several months and doesn't get tired... He was a bit afraid of the lizard and didn't want to touch it, but now it is just another thing to experience. He forgets about it every few weeks, so it is always a sort of new and exciting experience

    My infant loves this book!

I bought 'Touch & Feel Farm' for my 10 week old. She can't touch the animals on her own right now, but she smiles when I flip the pages and rub her toes on the soft, fluffy chicks! I'm sure she'll continue to enjoy it as she gets older.

My 10-month old loves this book!

My son loves this book, he can't wait to touch the animals and he can't resist touching the dogs furry tummy. We read this book over and over and it never gets old. I highly recommend this book for your little one.

    Babies love it!

I have twin 8 month-old daughters that have enjoyed this book since they were about 6 months. They love feeling the different textures on each page. I like the way the animals are actual photographs, not drawings. This book is simple, but yet intelligent. As a parent, I really appreciate this book.

    Baby's First Book

I purchased this book for my gradchild when she was six months old. She is now three, and the book remains a favorite. As a baby, she loved touching the textured patches, and the colors certainly caught her eye. At three, she reads to us, and identifies the animal names and colors. Great little book!
