Unbeknownst to Grace and David, Amber and Andrew have decided to join up to see Grace fail her next trial, each for their own selfish reasons. As she anticipated the next challenge, wondering what they will do to her next David also wonders if he wants her to succeed or not as well. Grace begins to want to complete all the levels for herself and not just so David will love her.

In my opinion David needs counseling for issues from his past. Although I want Grace to succeed if only to take Amber down a peg or two I can't help but wonder how she can love someone who enjoys setting her up in situations where she knows she will be uncomfortable and pushed beyond her endurance. Is he so sadistic that he finds sexual pleasure in her discomfort and pain? I am still racing to open Caress - The Dining Club Book 6 to find out what is in store for Grace next. I know she is wondering too.

So now we are entering the fourth test. More schemes, more betrayals, and Grace is still clueless. I'm not sure I can continue but in a weird way they keep pulling me to know exactly what happens. David is still a massive jerk. Now he knows he can't live without her nor wants to but yet he's setting her up to fail. Really? This is nuts. Amber and Andrew are making it to the point it's becoming day time drama worthy or really crappy reality tv. It's getting almost predictable.

Review: The Dining Club #5: Touch

Touch by Marina Anderson is the fifth book in The Dining Club series. As before, this picks up right where the last book left off.

Grace is starting to believe that David is sabotaging her third trial. He is doing all he can to make it more challenging for her. This test is one of stamina and he's already pushed her to her limit long before the trial begins. Can she outlast Amy, who works at the Dining Club and has been through these trials many times before? It seems impossible, and she feels betrayed. Add to this mess the fact that Amber is doing all she can to make sure Grace fails these trials and it seems hopeless.

Can Grace pass this third trial? Will David continue to be distant and calculating? Does she even want to pass this test if he continues behaving this way?

Read this steamy short serial to find out...
