    It keeps your attention

Not a bad book. This is the third in a series by this author. You really should read the first two because the characters in this one all tie in from those books. His other books in this series are Justice Rendered and Body Parts.

I loved it! Super, believable characters. Great action. Though you think you know where it's going, there are a few twists, and you enjoy the ride. This was a fine finish for the trilogy, but I hope to see the same characters in action again from this author. Get it. You won't be disappointed.

I've read all three of this new author's works, and I highly recommend them. Fast-paced, suspenseful reads. Twists and turns. Gratifying endings. I enjoyed the evolution of the main characters, flawed as they are, and their relationships across the novels. Anyone who enjoys good thrillers should pick these up.

    Don't like characters

The writing is well done, but the main characters are unlikeable. Carrie is an alcoholic freelance writer who falls back into the bottle when things get too difficult. Her redeeming qualities are that she cares about people and that leads her into investigating people who commit crimes againt others.

Michael, the guy she loves, stays angry at her throughout the trilogy and he and his PI friend, Max, treat her like she's a misbehaving idiot child. Carrie, who continues her investigations anyway, grieves and stays apologic for not doing what Max and Michael tell her. They treat her like a naughty child and she responds like one. Too bad. The three books in the trilogy could have been really good.

    Great Book

Could so many people get away with all that this book says, could be?? It was a great read and I never knew where the story was going. Carrie, Michael, Max and Melvin work so well together. I can't wait for the next book and I HOPE that Carrie and Michael can make a permenant commitment. They are so right for each other. What happens to Tony's "business"? I will be watching for the next book.

    Good Read

I liked this. I read it in one sitting because i just couldn't put it down. The political intrigue was great, except for the thought that this may be the type of people that are running our country. If they are it is no wonder our country is in the shape it is. I recommend this book.
