Pretty Good Read! Held my interest till the end!

When I decide if I like a book I make my decision on the storyline. Does it hold my attention? Do I want to continue reading it? Is it well written? The plot of this book was somewhat original, off beat, thrilling and there were some interesting twists and turns. To me that is what matters most. I liked "A Touch of Murder" and look forward to the next book by this author.

    ENJOYABLE, REFRESHING NEW CHARACTER!

I just LOVED this new mystery novel. I especially liked the main character - she is a really young woman who is a private detective. In the story a murder takes place at a spa in an upstate New York town. The young detective - her name is Samantha Kern - is at the spa "drying out" her alcohol problem and trying to get her life together after the death of her father. (He had been a detective before he was killed on the job.) She is a strong woman who musters up the guts to track down the killer at the spa - this will be her first murder case. It kept me guessing.and I guessed wrong right up until the end! You should add this to your reading list if you like murder mysteries. I read it over a long weekend.

    Formatting problem

I was really enjoying the book until I came to several pages with one letter to a line. Very disappointing ...... I wonder how much of the story/clues are missing.

    Good quick moving read

At first I thought there were too many characters but the author did a good job of describing the characters and giving them purpose! There are soooooo many avenues to travel with a second book in this series---hope to see it• I was able to figure out who dunnit by a simple phrase; but dont blink cause you will miss it! A very good read and is highly recommended!

    Good Story

The story line was good, keeping you engaged enough to want to know who the real killer was. The books set-up or the way it downloaded was a problem, the pages were not numbered correctly, numerous pages with the paragraphs vertical instead of horizontal, editing issues.
