    Touchdown USA!: Big Ten Marches

Initially looking for the University of Iowa "Fight Song," I have found the following performance cd to be a wonderful addition to my music collection. The University of Michigan Band presents a rousing tribute to the schools of the Big Ten with unique arrangements that are most enjoyable to listen to. The Big Ten Conference is fortunate to have excellent music departments, and this cd will not disappoint any listener. Though I will always have a favorite selection on this cd due to the many years of graduate study at this institution, all school songs are presented in a rousing manner that leave the listener filled with pride and the rekindling of many fond memories. The bold brass sounds and the intricate percussion rhythms create a truly inspiring experience. From one old "Hawkeye," thank you University of Michigan Marching Band for the walk down memory lane!!!!
