Touching the Monkey

I do like the monkey whose proud and prognathic visage graces the front of this book. I've heard of spanking the monkey before, but why instantly resort to corporal punishment? Monkeys have it hard enough, being the hominid always secondary to Man. I say respect the monkey.

What sort of species is that on the cover anyways? I would at least like to know his eating and mating habits, as well as his predisposition to aggression, before I fondle him outright.

    great collection from TQR

This book has a little something for everyone in it, and a whole lot of great reading for everyone. There's heartpounding action in Paul Finch's 'Slayground' and quirkiness in John Colvin's 'Between the Night People and the Day People' and plenty of literary fireworks all over these pages. Often unexpected, but always engaging, this collection is great from start to finish.
