This book gives a great walk down memory lane for those familiar with the Towson area. I purchased it as a gift and the Towson native loved it.

As a Senior Citizen who grew up near the Towson area, I found the profusion of pictures brought back many memories. The author does a very good job of describing the history of the town, it's various businesses, the changing architecture, etc. It is obviously well researched, and I learned much about the town that I never knew before. I found her personal comments on some of the architecture, etc. refreshing.
