I bought three copies of this book when it was released (and also bought three copies of The Toymaker's Christmas book.) These books make amazing gifts, and for under $10 each, you can't go wrong! Beautiful artwork, fun toys, inspiring, creative... What's not to love?!
I purchased this book for my grandchildren. We have had so much fun with these projects that I also purchased "The Toymaker Calendar". I hope Ms. Scott-Waters is working on another group because I can't wait to purchase the next book!!!
I have always loved The Toymaker's website... I utilize Marilyn's wonderful toy-art not only for mySelf (because I, as an adult, love to play, too!), but also for my parent/child library program. So when I saw that she had a book I bought it to support her wonderful work. The book is fantastic and is truly HOURS of fun, which is made even more glorious when you share that fun with some children. After buying this book, I bought her Christmas book and her 2012 calendar. Marilyn's fantastic artwork is brought to life in her wonderful paper toy books.
As a kindergarten teacher, I found this book extremely helpful to use in my classroom.
