It's made in a factory with allergens, so if your little one is allergic to nuts, don't buy it. Wish they would have noted this in the description before purchasing, as I now have to send it back!

"Santa" brought this for my 8yo and she really loved it. Our kit came with all the necessary ingredients to make the gum. The only item we did not have was disposable, microwaveable cups. I highly recommend you get some. We used a glass bowl, which proved challenging to clean (but not impossible). We made one batch of mint gum. Kids definitely need your help. The gum gets a bit harder to knead and a pair of adult hands finishes the job nicely. We added green food coloring (actually used gel coloring for cake decorating) to our mint flavored gum. The flavoring goes a bit fast but it tasted good. We are looking forward to trying it again with other flavors. I think we'll have to find a place to buy gum base when ours runs out!

I bought this kit for my 8- and 10-year-old children so they could make their own gum, because they love to help me bake and cook in the kitchen. The problem with this kit is it only has a few main ingredients there is still many more you have to go to the store a purchase. Plus, it was too difficult for them; I ended up making it for them. The gum was disgusting so we used it one time and then threw it away.

If I could give this product negative stars I would.  My daughter and her friend started to make the bubble gum,  following the recipe included in the package.  When the ingredients were mixed together they smelled like  burnt wood and a rotting corpse.  I'm not kidding, it was foul.  There was no way this was in any way edible or suitable for human or animal consumption.  Luckily Barnes and Noble is refunding our money.  DO NOT buy this product.

I bought this for my sisters 7th birthday. Her and her friends wanted to make bubble gum in the morning after the sleep over. It was way to difficult for them to do and I ended up doing 90% of it. The girls were disappointed they wernt able to be more involved in the process.

I gave this to my 7 year old granddaughter who LOVES science and anything sweet. This was the perfect combination for her and she excitedly pranced around after opening it to show all the relatives!

The bubble gum factory was a gift for my 5 year old great granddaughter. Her Mom home schools her and this will be used as part of science. She was thrilled to get it.
