Great cards for learning (winning, new color names, counting and memory)! Our grandchildren learned the new colors easily (and they are very clever names). In addition, we would teach them also teaches them how to count after each game (i.e., how many more sets did you win by, etc.). They also learn how to be a good winner and loser (can easily play a "rematch"), and keeps them sharp -- especially on how to remember who had a card he/she just picked up. I'm now looking to purchase more as gifts for their friends/relatives and see what else I can buy. My youngest grandson started by just holding the fish color up for us to know what he wanted (because he couldn't read at 3-4 yrs old), but after a few months, he learned the new color names and now has new "sight" words, which makes him proud.. This is easy and fun for the whole family.
I bought these to play with my grandchildren. The cards are a cute shape and the colors are bright. The only down side is the names of the colors. I cannot imagine my grandkids saying do you have any chartreuse, or eggplant, or cafe au lait. They may surprise me. I do like the cards and am happy I purchased them and look forward to playing "Go Fish!" with my grandkids.
