This is an easy and fun puzzle to put together with the family. Great gift for a winter afternoon.

I thought i knew where most countries were already, but I was newly educated with this puzzle.

The Global 600 Piece Puzzle is fun to work through, but many of the pieces are a bunch of countries stuck together... It was fun to have to remember grade school days to remember where countries are located and had lots of fun looking up the fun facts written in the oceans. My puzzle was a little hard to get all the pieces to lay flat without bowing caused by pieces being a little too large. I must say that listing statistics in the ocean pieces was a great idea! It added more depth and interest to the puzzle!

We had a great family evening putting this together, kids had the land, parents had the sea. We learnt about all the places in the world we haven't been too and enjoyed laughter and memories of the places we've been to see.

It is equally challenging and interesting. I was humbled by my imperfect knowledge of geography. Not great for (most) kids, I would think. I totally loved it, and will do it many times over. A GREAT lesson in geography.

I really love the setup of the puzzle and individual cut puzzle pieces. It is a nice change to the regular jigsaw puzzle and definitely helps you remember the countries with their main cities. The reason why I subtracted one star is solely based on the existence of a few very very small puzzle pieces which could get lost easily, especially in the hands of kids and toddlers. Then again kids of a young age should not be doing regular puzzles unattended anyways ;-).Overall I am very happy I purchased this puzzle and have already combined it a few times.

This puzzle is not put together well and falls apart quite easily. Even after completing and using puzzle glue to finish it is is very uneven and unattractive.

I have a puzzle-crazy, yet geographically-challenged daughter, so this was a perfect fit (pun intended!). The ocean pieces are tricky, but once those are in place, you can assemble the land masses. Once all is assembled, you can easily take apart a continent and reassemble. I even took out just the tiny islands and had her replace them in the right spots. A great, kinetic way to study maps.

We bought this puzzle for Christmas to help one of our children learn the worlds countries, but we all ended up enjoying and learning much more than we imagined. Highly recommend this puzzle!

The online description of this puzzle reads: "pieces shaped like the countries of the world" is very misleading. There are a handful of pieces that are the actual shape of the country they represent, but most of the 193 countries are not. The country's pieces do not interlock so the puzzle comes apart while you're working on it. The only interlocking pieces are the solid black border and the oceans (70% of the puzzle). I thought this would be a fun geography lesson for my grandchildren, but they became bored and frustrated with it and so did I. I'm very disappointed. I attempted to return it to the local B&N store, but the manager claimed this item "was not returnable" when that is not indicated anywhere. I'm very disappointed in this inferior product and in B&N for not standing behind the merchandise they sell.

Great idea for a world puzzle to have the pieces in the shape of the country they represent. That DOES   mean though that the pieces do not stick together very well, except for the side pieces. That makes it harder than what one would think given that there are only 600 pieces. We had fun putting it together. Am giving it only 1 star though because  2 pieces were missing in the set PLUS there were 2 extra pieces! What kind of quality control is that!!!
