Harry Potter Remote Control Wand 2.7 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 6 reviews.

Two things you need to know: 1. When the directions say the wand will be "pulsing" when ready to program, they mean vibrating. Not the flashing red light. A flashing red light means you're still in practice mode. 2. The reason you're still in practice mode is because you can't go directly to programming when the wand's off. You must first turn it on, then switch to programming. Once I had figured these two things out, programming went relatively smoothly. And then I had a bit of fun with it... Can't wait to see my dad's face on Christmas!

Teenage daughter asked for this for Christmas and was thrilled to see it under the tree. Unfortunately, that's where the fun and smile ended. As with the other reviewers, this has been nothing but an utter disappointment and source of frustration. The instructions are not helpful and the lucky lady in the YouTube How To video must have a different model--hers works, ours does not. Even simple left and right, up and down do not program or if programmed don't interact. I hope I still have the receipt as it's nothing but an expensive stick. Avoid.

My son received this for his birthday, and it has been a disappointing source of frustration. The programming instructions are convoluted,  and the wand continuously fails to perform simple commands after successful programming. He asked for the wand for months, and he  now regrets wasting a birthday wish on this junk.

Very hard to use. The tutorial video is easy to follow. There is no information included to tell you what tv brands this is compatible with at all. I bought this for a huge Harry Potter fan. It turned out to be a useless novelty item. Even worse, there is no information on who to call to get help for this useless piece of memorabilia.
