Our granddaughter received this for a first birthday and has played many hours with it. Basic shapes, catchy first tunes, "please" and "thank you" and simple words/ideas ("open/close") help promote concepts for beginners. Heavy duty construction. She's 2.5 years old and still plays with this teaset often. One of the best early toys.

This was an instant hit with my 15 month old granddaughter -- and adult family members who play with her!

I purchased this as a gift for my one year old Goddaughter. It is adorable and she loves to play with it. She actually tries to "pour the tea" and sips from the cups. Its plays cute songs and encourages polite behavior :)

The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it's pink. I wish it was gender neutral, it's the only one I found suitable for 6 months and up, all other tea sets are for older children.
