I think its great.Iam 14 and I used it for a project.I got a b+ Almost an A.Its great. The Volcano was the best.On some though it tells you how to make it better and how things you find 'Laying Around The House' are what your going to need extra.I might be old fashioned, but I dont have Sulfiric acid or Chlorine laying around in my house........still great. But what you should do is when you buy it and you go out to your car, open it and look at each experiment's instructions and then if it tells you you need this or that stop at the store and pick them up on your way home! Its great though.

This was a gift for our 8 yr old daugther's birthday. She loves science and we wanted her to be able to have fun experimenting. She asks to do an experiment daily! She's done them with me, my husband, her sisters - I am very pleased with the amount of supplies this kit has - she has played non stop since receiving it! I plan on buying another kit for Christmas - I hope it's as fun and interesting as this one! She has created a mini volcano, created crystals in tubes, made goo, and performed some litmus tests. Great kit.

At first my kids were really interested until they had to wait 1-2 hours for experiments before proceeding to the next step. lost interest very quickly. we were hoping for immediate reactions. boo.
