The original Munchkin game and the other versions I've bought have had a fair mix of cheesy humor, some predictable jokes, and a good mix of inventive and hilarious content. They also mixed in a loving tribute to the source material and a clear understanding of how my roleplaying game worked as a teenager. (You need not have played any roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons to play any version of Munchkin, they just make some of the jokes funnier.) This version, though, is 90% Conan tribute and 10% humor. There are lots of references for fans of the original books, the later books by writers like L. Sprague De Camp, etc... and fans of the two Conan films with Arnold Schwarzenegger. But there are surprisingly few jokes, and I was disappointed. I didn't even try to play this version with anyone, since I'm the only rabid Conan fan in my current social circle.
