If you've ever played Quiddler, you will LOVE this new deluxe version! I already owned a deck of Quiddler, but now I have a spare (to replace those worn out cards) and a great place to store it all. The dictionary is awesome! It's so simple and I love the brief definitions... just enough info to validate the word. And it's family-friendly! This is one of my all-time favorite games!
I purchased this game for my nieces, ages 8, 12 & 17, so that we could play it while they were visiting me over the weekend. It's our new favorite game! The challenge of the game is to make words out of the cards in your hand (like Scrabble, but with cards). There are eight rounds and you get one additional card per round. It was very interesting what types of words we came up with. The best part of the deluxe version is that it comes with a Quiddler dictionary, a score pad and a pencil. The dictionary has tons of 2, 3, 4 and 5 letter words and was easy to use. In the last round, we started helping each other to see if we could use all of our cards in our hand so that we could score more points. I would highly recommend this game to anyone!
Enjoyed playing Quiddler with my family who are fans of Scrabble. This is a great, fun and educational card game for the whole family. It keeps your attention, and it doesn't take forever to finish. My kids have learned so many new words and their math skills are improving at the same time. We loved having the Quiddler dictionary while we played the game because we not only look up words, but we could also challenge someone if we thought they made up a word. But the best thing about this game is that it's fun to play. Enjoy!
I was so excited to find out that the makers of Quiddler came out with a deluxe version and I had to buy it as I've been a huge fan of Quiddler for years! The tin holds the Quiddler cards, a dictionary, a score pad and pencil. The dictionary only has short words which has made each hand easier to win. It has my whole family looking up new short words and it has helped us settle a few 'that's not a word' disputes. Quiddler appeals to card game lovers, word lovers, and strategy lovers. It's also a great game for young children as they can use their existing vocabulary, expand it, and even win!
