If you've played Apples to Apples then you are familiar with the basics of this kind of party game. One person asks a question and everyone else provides the answers.

The best part about "Say Anything" is that you are not limited in your answer. You can write down anything that you feel would be the best answer for the person asking the question.

Example questions from memory include:
Who is the most important person from the last 100 years?
What would be the coolest thing to have in a mansion?
What is your favorite place to spend time while in high school?

Once everybody answers the question (on dry erase pads), the person who asked the question privately selects their favorite answer. All the answerers use their chips to bet on which answer or answers they feel are the best. Then, everyone, including the asker, is scored for up to 3 points per round.

Everyone gets a chance to ask a question at least once (once for 7-8 players, twice for 5-6 players and three times for 3-4 players). Expect a half hour of laughing as the group really finds out how well they know each other!

I help run a monthly boardgaming event. After playing it one time, the regulars (primarily families with teenage children) keep asking us to bring it back! My close friends enjoy playing it regularly as well.

It tools us a couple of rounds to fully warm up. You have to get a feel for what others are looking for. We all got better at it the more we played. More creativity involved than in Apples to Apples and Loaded Questions. All family members enjoyed his game. Only drawback would be for folks who lack humor or creativity. Recommend it!

I got this game at Christmas time because after reading the reviews I thought it would be perfect for our family game nights. We played it on Christmas night and it was an instant hit with everyone!!! Are family tends to get alittle competitve and sometimes game night is not so enjoyable. This game was perfect because there was no right or wrong answer, It was the choice of the individual based on the answers the players came up with. I would recommend this game to anyone. Young and old alike. I don't think we've ever had so much fun or laughed so much during family game night until we played this game!!! On New Years Eve everyone stayed home instead and got together to play games and this was the one everyone chose.

The rules were confusing but we improvised and played and haven't played since purchasing. May try to play again if the right people are in for it.

My friends and I have a game group that gets together once a week to play a number of board games. Say Anything has been a favorite from the first time I brought it. The only problem was that 3 of the 8 markers were already useless by the time the box was opened. This problem was solved by the purchase of additional whiteboard markers. Love the game!

Just played this game with my family over Christmas. Very funny! The answers definately reflected the personalities of the people playing...so choose the people you play with wisely!

I recently got this game as a birthday gift and have now played it 5 times in the last month. It is the funniest party game we've played in years! Within a few minutes of starting to play, you'll find yourself laughing hysterically at the funny questions or talking about what everyone writes down for the pop culture and opinion questions. I definitely recommend it for fans of party games or family games.
