My daughter had twin boys. I asked what she wanted them to have for Christmas - she told me about Sophie. I didn't ask the price but was really surprised when I paid over $40 for two teethers. But after I've seen the babies use them - well worth it. They're incredibly well made, soft and nothing peels off. They absolutely love them.... I'd recommend them to anyone.

We bought Sophie when our son was 4 months old. He is now 8 months and Sophie has become his favorite toy. Unfortunately, we recently found a small chunk missing from her foot (hoof). He has 2 teeth that have come in so far so it must be possible for teeth to puncture this toy. We are very sad that we've had to take away his favorite toy but since it has now become a choking hazard, we have no choice.

My sister purchased a Sophie for my daughter when she was like 4-5 months. At first I thought she wasted her money but now my daughter is 9 months and she LOVES this thing. It stays in the crib with her and it really helps with her gums and teething AND keeps her from knawing on the rail of the crib. The only thing you have to watch is if you have a dog because it also looks and sounds exactly like a dog toy, therefore my bichon stalks it all day along with the pacifiers. Hence why it stays in the crib. Would highly recommend. I also recommended any of the Kaloo baby toys. My daughter loves her medium sized pink bunny (which is not sold on B&N) but these other versions from Kaloo are. She cannot sleep at night without these stuffed animals I had to buy 2 of the same. Best part is they are machine wash & dry and get even softer with time.

Because of the expense of this toy I would never had purchased one myself. However, a good friend gave me a Sophie at my baby shower, and we joked about how "in" we were to know about this "oh so natural and sheik" toy. It turns out my baby loves it! It is his favorite thing to teeth on and he loves chomping on the giraffe's horns and ears the best. He also loves the sound of the squeaker. Now we don't go anywhere without our Sophie and sure hope we do not lose it as I would have to plop down over 20 big ones to get it replaced.

This giraffe teether is all-natural rubber (very hard to find these days). It's just perfect for my son and he loves it. Children have a natural love of animals and this giraffe is as cute as can be. Very soothing and reassuring.

I bought this teether cause it has really good review. It is a nice product, has different angle for kids to try on. But my son doesn't seem to be interest very much, I have to force him to bite on it, he would rather bite on other household stuff... I am still trying to get him more interested.

Obviously this was not for me, but it was appreciated by the parent of the child, who likes everything natural.

A friends baby had this giraffe and loved it. I bought my grandson one and it is great for teething and his little hands can hold it easily. Highly recommend Sophie Giraffe!

Sophie Giraffe is not a cheap toy, but well worth the dollars spent. It can be given to a newborn. And it quickly becomes the child's favorite. It is totally safe for the baby to put in its mouth and it brings hours of joy to the child. It is worth every penny.

My little one really loves this giraffe. I like it because it is easy to clean by running it under hot water.

I put off buying this until I find a sale bc I was having a hard time justifying spending this much on a teether. However, once my teething boy got his mouth on this it was love at first chew. He has been fussy but this keeps him occupied and is the only non-chill teether that seems to bring relief. At 6mo he can hold it easily and likes to look at her smiling face. Couldn't be happier knowing he is happy and chewing on a toy that is safe. :)
