No effort from Thomas Tank publishers--but premium cost to customer

My 3 year old nephew picked out this book for the Nook, and I paid my $9.99(!) for it. Both of us were VERY disappointed!! This is nothing more than straight scans of actual Thomas books. There has been NO adapting for a Nook whatsoever. You can hardly see the pictures, and there is lots of very small text. My nephew, who has no trouble at all with other Nook children's books, had lots of trouble turning pages with this one, and quickly gave up. So, be forewarned: Maybe buy the paper books, but don't buy Nook Thomas books without downloading a sample first!!! I felt very ripped off.

    Bad nook conversion

As others have said, it simply does not work as a nook book. It's as if they put no effort in it at all. This one purchase has me questioning B&N quality control - they will have to do better to keep me as a customer...

    too much!

My little girl loves Thomas and she actually picked this Nook-Book herself, but after we downloaded it, she quickly lost interest. There are far too many words per picture and she had trouble paying attention. Each paragraph takes a long time because of too many sound effects. You should only get this book if your little one is a very good at listening along.
