This is one of the best books available for basic dog training.

This is one of the best books available for basic dog training. The writing is clear and easy to understand, and the DVD makes it easy to put into practice. Best of all it makes sense to the dog. It covers all the things a pet owner needs to know to have a well behaved dog. No gimmicks or fancy equipment needed. Plus it is a valuable tool for instructors with its step-by step instruction for training sit and down with stay, for even to most difficult dogs. Steps for training a reliable recall are simple and easy to master. If I could have only one training book, it would be this one.
