I can't believe i paid 7 dollars for this book. It is 9 pages long and doesn't tell me anything i didn't already know. No specifics on what to look for, what or how to train. Nothing. Very disappointed... I think they should list the pages or something in the description.....

This is a very basic starter book for people interested in a service dogs. There are a number of things that need to be added. 1. mentioning to talk to reputable service dog trainers to get an idea what type of dog they would suggest, based on a persons disabilities and there personality. 2. The handler needs to know how difficult it will be to train certain breeds and know how patient they - the handler is. 4. The handler needs to consider the type of tasks the dog will be required to do. . Additional chapters should be added a) the ADA's stance on service dogs - where they can and cannot go. provide a realistic cost for training thw dog as well as associated costs (i.e., a harness if needed, grooming costs, etc.) I hope the author is considering on expanding on this book. There aren't to many books on this subject. The ones I have read are too shallow.
