    enjoyed it

I enjoyed this book and I've been a sub for 18 years. We have to remember that each couple's dynamic is different and there is no one-true way when it comes to bdsm. I really think the writer could have drawn it out more and it would have made a good story even better. But overall I really liked the characters and I thought the writing was fine. If you're a one-true-wayer about bdsm or a stark realist, you'll probably hate this book. There's also an element of fantasy to this story that stark realists and one-true-wayers will hate. There is dubius consent. I did have a bit of a problem with the initial caging scene because there was absolutely no consent there. At the same time, for me it was exciting. If you have fantasies of men forcing you to their whim, that's a great scene right there. Amy is given a safe word and her Dom treats her well. I was disappointed there was no rope bondage. I'll just say that this is fiction, likely written as a fantasy. As long as you remember that, you'll probably really enjoy it.

    Must read

Loved this story. Loved the story and the fact that it wasn't just about the sex and bdsm. It gave a light background of characters and explained the need for bdsm for some people. Can't wait for the sequel and maybe another story about Eric and Amy. Didn't want to put it down.

    I Also Recommend:

    Very much enjoyed!

I found myself smiling a lot while reading this book, even when I was at work I could be found with a smirk on my face. It was sexy, intriguing and enjoyable. I liked that the characters had a personality one could almost feel and that there was an actual story aside from just sex. That is what made it so enjoyable for me. Will definitely be reading more of this authors work. I highly recommend it! Still thinking about it and I finished it days ago!

    amateurish

This book was amateurish and the author clearly knows nothing about the BDSM lifestyle. The writing was bad, the editing was worse, the cover is atrocious. A few titillating scenes do not make a good book.

    Great Book

This was the first book I read by Anne O'Connell. I am a fan of the BDSM genre, and often I am disappointed by the content and length of the books I buy. This one did not disappoint. There was a solid story, juicy sex, and the promise of a sequel which I am looking forward to!

    Interesting

This was an interesting read if you don't know much about BDSM. Hope I got that right. As far as getting me worked up, i give it a thumbs down.

    Great book!

Fantastic! Kinky but not scary. Really shows that the dom/sub relationship can be filled with mutual love and respect but still fulfill the needs of everyone involved.

    Very nice!

At 116 pages this book is fairly short but its a great read. O'connell draws you in to experience the realistic emotions of her characters. Training Amy, will keep your toes curled and breath labored the characters were wonderful, cant wait for Brad & Kali's story!

    Get in the cage.

A fun romp through one girl's discovery of bdsm. I enjoyed it, and felt he characters were realistic. This isn't a non-stop porn ride, and that's a good thing. These characters feel like people, don't treat their lifestyle as a religion, and care about each other. That said when the kink does come into play it's a lot of fun to observe. The real shortcoming here is a lack of conflict. Problems are resolved far too easily, almost like a magic wand makes everything okay again.

Nonetheless I enjoyed it and recommend it.

    Great Read! Highly Recommended

This book is a far cry from the typical smut novel that plays on cliche fantasies. Though there were few grammatical errors, it was a well developed story. The characters are well rounded and the transformation of Amy is a joy to follow. The best aspect of this novel is that it offers more than just steamy sex scenes. The characters have real problems and emotions that are explored. You don't see many erotic novels that explore more than just kink and sex. This novel is exceptional in respect to being an erotic novel that also explores human emotion and transformation as it is related to primal sexual desires. It is a short read, but it is well worth the price to purchase it. I highly recommend it to the avid reader who likes to read about erotica with a hint of life and emotion.

    Ok

This is like an introductory BDSM story. For someone well-versed in this genre, I found it lacking depth, but were I to read this years ago as a beginner, I would have enjoyed it more. Wish it were longer.

    Good book, short

I enjoyed the story line...its different than the big title "erotica" fifty shades and crossfire series which was a nice switch. The book was short at just 116...but fulfilled the story line nicely. There wasn't a whole ton of sex scenes but enough. Would recommend.n

    Great quick read

Enjoyed this one more than the second, (Switched). Amy is young and naïve and in need of coaching and both men do a good job of introducing her to a different lifestyle. This was actually a quick read and pretty entertaining, might read again.
