Trance [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - John D. Buchanan
In this frenetic, mindbending thriller from Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later), an art dealer teams with a hypnotherapist and a gang of crooks to recover a missing priceless painting. The pounding electronic score, by Underworld's Rick Smith, is interspersed with tracks by the likes of Moby and UNKLE, and also features a collaboration with soul-pop diva Emeli Sandé. In a contrast to other film score albums, Smith remixed and reworked the tracks so they flow seamlessly rather than simply appearing as disparate musical "cues."
