    Essential reading!

A fascinating collection of conversations on theatre, media, performance, and culture. Ground-breaking artists discuss process in unique and frank ways that make for provocative and instructive reading for anyone interested in the arts. The book is well-formatted, and reads with ease. Each interview reflects the intrinsic nature of the artist interviewed, and juxtaposes themes and ideas evident in other interviews in the volume creating important connective tissue throughout. Key figures such as Tim Etchells, Guillermo Gomez-Pena, Erik Ehn, Joanna Laurens, Marianne Weems and Migdalia Cruz are among the extremely impressive list of artists profiled. Essential reading for students and practitioners of theatre and performance, and general-interest arts-lovers as well.
