Biking across America is an adventure unlike any other. Unlike a wilderness adventure, biking across America is public. Good people, bad people, house dogs, wild dogs, friendly drivers, angry drivers. They're everywhere, and you never know who or what you'll find on the road. Brian and Mark, cycling 4,500 miles across America, meet the bad with the good but ultimately they find that America is full of angels.
Stranded in the Idaho desert in 105 degrees with 50 miles to the nearest town, Brian and Mark meet a stranger who willingly gives them his truck for a 100 mile trip to the bike shop. In Wyoming, with bikes broken down and busted, a descendent of the Schwinn family shows up with spare parts. The duo are welcomed into strangers' homes, fire stations, and city parks.
Join them on their 90 day journey across America, meet the characters that help make up this great country. Happy Reading and Happy Cycling!
