Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com - Jean Sulli
This was a great read! It flowed nicely. Very entertaining. Very heart felt. The characters were 'real'. I felt like I knew them and I cared about them. There's a nice balance of humor, drama and suspense and intrigue in the book and it propels it at a level that kept my interest piqued. Jeff Fuell's writing style especially enabled me to see vividly all the scenes in his book. It was like I was that 'fly on the wall' watching and observing what was happening close-up. I was sorry it ended.

The story moves fast, a little too fast sometimes. But the author shows a real passion for story-telling and a good grasp of the essentials of a thriller. The idea of reliving grade school days, good and bad, is great fun. Adding the murder of the protagonist gives it a fresh twist. There's lots of humor which keeps the story from being too heavy.

I really enjoyed this book! It had a little bit of everything, mystery, edge of your seat drama, laughter and tears. I would totally recommend this to my friends. I'm not going to talk too much about the story line other than we all can remember sitting behind someone in school and wishing we could sit anywhere else LOL! (you'll see what I mean ;) Look forward to reading more by Jeff Fuell.

I go a whole 5 stars because this is a fantasy just about all, if not ALL, have had.Going back to childhood with your grown up mind and memories. However, this is not back to your OWN past (time travel?)the 'time' doesn't change. The author gives you an enjoyable read with wonderful characters. PLUS a terrific father/son relationship however tragic. I like the characters, the precocious sister and the gasbag schoolmate.
