I began reading this book and i got excited because it reminded me a bit of the clan of the cavebear series. After the first chapter you soon realize it was just a set up for a modern ice age story. The Keth are a new species or transfiguration of humans who initially are thought to be deformations and treated as such. I found myself cheering on the Keth as they began to realize their brilliance and the team of "humans" who help them. Wonderful read i hope that there may be another book so i can see more of the Keth.
