A popular speaker at conferences and retreats around the world, he has appeared on Focus on the Family, The 700 Club and many other radio and TV programs. He lives with his wife and son in Santa Barbara, California.
Howard Baker teaches spiritual formation and spiritual direction at Denver Seminary and Fuller Seminary, Colorado. When not running, skiing or road tripping with his wife, Janis, Howard serves as a spiritual director to pastors, seminary students and Young Life staff. He is the author of Soul Keeping and a contributor to the Renovare Spiritual Formation Study Bible.
