I recently purchased the Transformers: Robots In Disguise Volumes 1 and 2. This review will cover volume one. The Comic itself is a refreshing take on the Transformers Universe. The war is OVER. But the fight to rebuild has just begun. This deals with issues like racism, politics, totalitarianism and freedom all in ways you wouldn't expect from the Transformers. I'd recommend this (And it's sister series More Than Meets The Eye) The art is mostly amazing and the story pacing makes you want to keep reading BUT there is one SERIOUS issue. The actual file that contains the comic has a very serious problem, several of the pages, starting on Page 17, are badly rendered. The resolution is so low that you cannot read the dialog and the art is blurry as a result. I archived and restored the file multiple times and contacted Customer Service. I was told to archive it and restore it each time I called. As it stands, if they can't fix the file, I can't recommend this volume for purchase. Furthermore, I can't tell if Volume 3 is actually volume 3 or a Godzilla volume because the title labeled as Transformers RID Vol.3 shows a sample of Godzilla comics instead.

Robots in Disguise takes place at the same time as More Than Meets The Eye, another successful and fantastic series from IDW. Not sure whrre ghe problem stems from, but some of the pages (4 of them I believe) are impossible to read. They've been heavily pixelated, and to be frank, it's immensely annoying trying to understand what each text bubble says. The fact that this would never be an issue if you owned the physical copy makes this even more frustrating...
