What happens when two supposed friends cannot seem to get along—trouble! Sam and Mikaela were driving with Wheelie and Bumblebee when Starscream suddenly appeared. The two tranformers are arguing about the best approach to fight Starscream and failing to protect the humans. Fortunately Optimus Prime appeared on the scene and took care of the intruder. Even though Optimus Prime gives them a lecture to work together, the two robots will not talk to each other and even Optimus Prime could not get them to make up. Starscream attacks again and this time the two have to work together to defeat the Decepticon. It is a comic book story with plenty of action and a straightforward message about friendship and teamwork. Probably more appealing to boys and fans of the Transformers. A Level 2 book in the "I Can Read!" series. The opening page has a note to parents about the series and the inside back cover displays other books in the series. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
