Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Kathie M. Josephs
Part of a series, this issue needs to be read in order. Megatron, who is the leader of the Decepticon's, has been in cryo-statis for almost a hundred years. The huge cryo block was found in 1913. It seems that President Hoover built a dam around it to hide its energy. (Great history lesson for kids.) As the story progresses, Megatron is freed and only Sam and his car, Bumblebee, can save the day. The enemy is after the Allspark, so Sam and Mikaela take off together to save the day. This is the final book in the series. The illustrations are great, as is the writing. One aspect that is difficult to follow is the conversation balloons. They never explain who is talking, you must figure it out by looking at the character and if you have not read the books in order you may not know all the characters. Reviewer: Kathie M. Josephs
