All Music Guide - Andy Kellman
Whatever promise T.I. showed on his flawed debut is almost fully realized throughout his excellent 2003 follow-up, Trap Muzik. On the surface, Trap Muzik can be viewed as another record built on glorious superficialities, concerned with little more than material wealth, drug dealing, and champion stature. David Banner, Kanye West, and DJ Toomp all chip in with key production work, but the MC is the real draw from beginning to end, from the supremely infectious chorus of "24's" to the complex self-analysis of "T.I. vs. T.I.P." By the time 2003 drew to a close, this album had spawned three chart hits -- "24's" had a particularly long-running presence on the video shows -- and the album itself scraped the Top Five of the Billboard album chart. With another record as good as this, T.I. just might become the King of the South that he continually claims to be.

    Flawless Muzik!!

T.I. really shows some maturity, but remains himself through his CD. You can tell that T.I. put in some time and energy in the music. My favorites are "24's", "Be Easy", "Rubberband Man", "Let's Get Away", and "Let Me Tell You Something". Basically, a paradise southern CD of tight production.

King of the South and I mean that shhhh..

In a southern world full of meaningless JUNK i mean CRUNK.Tip sets his self a part by showing depth and growth and not resorting to strip club music and loud screaming(YEAH) AND DTP sucks for hating..exactly where r they disturbing the peace?why they worried about where TI is trapping..peace and love and pray for my man(Mr.T.I)aka rubberbandman

    Great Follow Up

2001's I'm Serious is an underground classic and this album is no exception. T.I. may not be for everyone but for those who are willing to give him a chance you will not be disappointed.
