    very good book

    Aubu1964
I started this novel on Friday June 22nd 2012.
Lori and Derek were trapped in an elevator and the phone did not work either. She had claustrophobia. But I think she was in love with him. Derek was her boss. They were probably the only one's in the building it was 8 at night, She was a clerk in the sales department. He never used a phone to get people . He would call their names out in the office. He was a perfectionist. She never took part in the office gossip. She had gone into his office she thought she was doing something wrong. She did her work and helped other employees. She was getting a raise she had became Derek's secretary now. Bit she did not have any experience in secretarial stuff. But she took secretarial courses. She dropped out of high school because her mom had cancer and needed someone to take care of her. Derek told her she should be proud of herself. Her father worked during the day but when she worked at night her father would be with her mother. But her mother had died, They had a lot of bills to be paid. She got another job as a nurse's aid during the day and all night still the waitress job and her father got a second job and her brother got a job delivering pizza's it took them 3 years to finally payed off all the bills. They kissed and kissed. They had finally got out of the elevator. I enjoyed this novel very much. ShelleyMA
