    Good addition to Ashes series

This book in the Ashes series is a very exciting one placing Raines and his group attempting to clean out the ruins of New York City, a main base of the cannibalistic Night People. As with the rest of the Ashes series, it's a gritty look into the drama of survival in a postwar U.S. and filled with the usual references to a lot of current attitudes that lead to the future situation portrayed in the storyline.
