Trash-Hauler's Ball: A Tale of Modern War based on 0 ratings. 5 reviews.
As a female aircraft mechanic and writer myself, I love this story. It is inciteful and passionate. I loved reading this novel and will suggest it to my male friends in the future.
What a great book! As a flight engineer myself, I totally relate. I'm tired of books by/for the college boys. Finally a book for the real men of military aviation. A great read. I felt like I was there, with the crew.
What an interesting and fast-paced read. The story is primarily set in Central America and revolves around the ongoing war on drugs, and a C130 Flight Engineer's personal struggles. The author uses a very interesting writing style of running 2 timelines in each chapter. One timeline is leading up to an event, and the other timeline is the 'Aftermath' of the event. Highly recommended!
'Trash-Hauler's Ball' is a terrific modern-day war novel. It's set in present-day South America, and the plot revolves around the crew of an Air Force C-130 Hercules. If you want a novel to take you right inside the cockpit -- and right inside the war on drugs -- check out 'Trash-Hauler's Ball.'
