Purpose: It achieves its objective to be a user-friendly bedside and office tool to help practitioners caring for patients with traumatic brain injuries.
Audience: It is appropriate for physiatrists, general practitioners, medical residents, and students.
Features: The book covers high-yield topics in traumatic brain injury basics, conditions, and interventions. It is a very good resource for the appropriate evaluation and examination of this patient population. The format works well for quick reference and review. A shortcoming, however, is the poor quality of the neuroimages.
Assessment: Overall, this is an extremely helpful quick reference for anyone involved in taking care of traumatic brain injury patients.
