Overview

This witty and inventive book is designed specifically for women burning with the desire to reconnect with their mates both emotionally and sexually. It encompasses practical, down-to-earth advice that unfolds with the audacity that only anecdotes derived from a topless bar can achieve. Being a wife means more than saying "I do" --- it is a continuously evolving role that requires planning and perseverance, pliancy and playfulness.

Using her gentleman's club exploits as the backdrop, Xxavier fills the text with strategies for women to investigate as they try to avoid the common mistakes that contribute to the ever-increasing divorce rate. Whether discussing a seductive scent, order in the bedroom, effective communication, or how to keep things hot in the kitchen for your man, she explores each theme with clarity and candor. The words "V.I.P. Treatment" will take on new meaning in the psyche of women everywhere and leave many husbands smiling for years to come.

About the Author

Xxavier Tallow's work found exposure to a nationwide audience when she was a featured local author at the Essence Music Festival. That same year, the hurricane Katrina disaster uprooted her from her native home of New Orleans, LA and forced her relocation to Houston, TX, where in 2005 the editors of Houston Style magazine gave her the rare privilege of writing her own evacuation story in an emotional and endearing three part series. Drawing from experience learned as an exotic dancer in New Orleans' gentleman's clubs, Xxavier injects a heretofore unlikely perspective into the discussion of marriage coaching. With a charming wit and conversational style, Xxavier offers sometimes comedic, but always direct and honest straight talk about how wives can keep their husbands' interest amidst the day to day challenges of work and family life.

With the initial release of Treat Your Man Like A V.I.P., Xxavier became a regularly featured relationship coach advising callers live on-air on popular New Orleans radio stations WQUE 93.3 FM and WBOK 1230 AM. The former, 93.3 is Louisiana's most widely broadcast radio station. It features an urban music radio format that draws a youthful audience of 20 and 30 something's, many of whom are newlyweds facing unfamiliar challenges common for recently married couples. On the latter, 1230 AM, a community talk format focused largely on local politics and post Katrina recovery issues, Xxavier spoke frequently to older, middle-aged listeners, many of whom were a part of veteran married couples struggling to keep their marriages full and enjoyable.

Author and columnist Xxavier Tallow, who has successfully spread her methods of marital success in print and radio mediums, currently offers her relationship expertise through personal coaching, and she happily answers emails from the lovelorn via . Xxavier splits her time between New Orleans and Houston, and her favorite form of social networking continues to be Bourbon Street bars.
