Overview

On Tree, Gaelic Storm continues with some of the same infectious enthusiasm that won them fans on their two previous albums and their appearance in the movie Titanic. Part Celtic jam band, part jangly feel-good adult contemporary music, the group has universally exuberant lyrics backed by music that sounds a little less manic on this outing, yet still maintains a consistent energy. New member Kathleen Keane lends an added dimension to the band with her whistle playing, fiddling, and vocals. Songs like "Beggarman," "Swimmin' in the Sea," and "The Plouescat Races" stand up well to preceding Gaelic Storm releases.

I had the opportunity to see this group in concert at Duke University, Raleigh,NC in 11/01.They performed many of the songs from this collection. These people have the ability to draw a crowd of all ages and make everyone of them dance in their seats!!!

I saw this group in a nature store in Towson. My uncle bought it for me last Christmas, and I cannot get enough of this group! I would love to see them preform live! I love the entire CD, but my favorites are "Walk Through My Door" and "Johnny Tarr."

This is all the adrenaline you'll ever need all compact into one disk. I cannot tell you in words and in the amount of space provided for me how much I enjoy this CD. It has so many different flavors and tempos and accompaniment instruments that it just leaves you in awe. Gaelic Storm is a sensation, and we should encourage them, so buy this CD.

First of all Gaelic Storm is an amazing group. They are a Irish Celtic Rock band. They include IRish Music but with a rock touch. On their newer album I practice my Irish Dancing to many of thier songs. THEY ARE A GREAT BAND!!!
