Trespassing surpasses any album I've heard in years. So many fun dance songs and extraordinary ballads that will dig deep in your heart and soul. A must have album.

This is everything Adam said the album would be + more. He totally shows off his range especially on "running" when he goes into his lower register and "underneath" where he is up and down and all around. The dancy songs really make you want to move and the dubstep undertones are kickin'! But where Adam shines as always is in the ballads. Fans will love it, casual listeners will find a few gems and haters... will continue to hate. A+ Adam.

I have heard the snippets for all the tracks on this cd (main tracks). This man's voice is unbelievable..this cd is a wonderful ride through great dance and feel good songs like Kickin In...to soul searching gut wrenching ones like "Underneath," which is gorgeous and will make you cry. This will be an epic cd.

Can't say enough about how phenomenal this CD is... it's Adam at his finest vocally, it's fun, it's funky, it shows another side of Adam, taking the listener 'underneath' the glam...Very different from For Your Entertainment, but equally stellar!

As much as I hate to say it, beware. For Your Entertainment is one of my favorite albums EVER and was very excited for Adam's second album. I couldn't wait to receive this in the mail. I gathered my 12 and 8 year old around and said "Listen to this!" and cued up Cuckoo. To my horror the lyrics contain the F word -- TWICE!! Trespassing and Shady say A**; Pop That Lock says B****; Take Back says SH** - several of the tracks have references to drinking; Naked Love, well, you can imagine. I will just skip over that track anyway, so it's a non-factor. I am most upset about the explicit language and expected better. I am willing to overlook the occasional D*** or H*** but the other ones I just can't overlook. The driving club feel of Trespassing, Cuckoo and Pop That Lock could be really great songs and I hope a radio edit is released because I would purchase those songs.
Now for the ones I do like, Never CLose Our Eyes is great. This is the club-Adam and it makes you want to get up and dance. Broken English is very powerful and well-written; I love the vocal range and strength of performance in Runnin'. I agree with the one review that it is nice to hear Adam sing in the lower range and then soar to the high range. Nirvana is nice as well. But my favorite of all is Better Than I Know Myself. I think I have listened to it 20 times in the past 3 days. It is, simply stated, amazing and I truly think it is THE best song of the entire album. Adam has a way of reaching into your emotions and then doesn't let go. His vocal performance is absolutely stunning. The musicality of the entire song is right. His use of dynamics to build the emotion of the song is spectacular.When he sings the words "Better Than I Know Myself" it is so powerful I nearly break into tears - I can't listen to it enough times.
I was going to return this album and purchase the tracks I liked separately, but I will be money ahead at this point to just keep the album (I got it at a great discount). I will wait for radio edits to purchase the other tracks I won't listen to because of the language and drinking and sexual references. Because of only being able to listen to half of the album I have to give it 2 stars, which bums me out. Adam Lambert is a true entertainer - I still believe he should have won American Idol; but for me, this album fell short.

Adam Lambert‘s Trespassing has sailed to the #1 position on the Billboard Top 200 in its first week, marking the American Idol alum’s first chart-topping LP. This is a well-deserved honor for this album that shows off the singer's amazing vocal range and the beauty of his voice. The beginning of the album features some really catchy dance tunes like Cuckoo and Shady that made me want to get up and dance and the latter part features ballads, like Underneath, that made me gasp in amazement. Mr. Lambert has dug deep into his soul to write these songs and he has also made this a fun ride. That's difficult to do, but he sure as heck did it. I give this album FIVE stars and highly recommend it to everyone who like good music.

I keep listening to this cd over and over. Every song is great and there is a song for every mood. This is one of my all-time favorites already.

Many of the songs are tinged with hints of pop, dance, electronica, and rock. The diverse musical genres help to create a strong music collection that appeals to music listeners of various backgrounds. I completely understand that each Adam Lambert fan may differ in the songs that are their personal preference. However, I admit that the following are already some of my favorites:
Pop That Lock
Naked Love
Chokehold
Broken English
Nirvana
Underneath
“Trespassing” (Deluxe Edition) is a worthwhile purchase for those who enjoyed any of Adam Lambert’s previous musical efforts and/or music lovers who are open to blended music genres in one song (such as electronica and pop, dance and pop, chillout and pop etc.).
