I cannot get enough of this series it is excellent and each book has a new twist and turn and i would recommened starting with the first book so there are no spoilers.
This book is mostly about Lia over coming some of her personal struggals and the ever continuing wonderful stories of Gabi Luca Marcello and family you come to love as the reader.

The River of Time series has definitely swept me up into them! I found myself trying to read slower, savoring the story, beautifully written by one of my favorite authors. I highly, highly recomend this series for teens, but im sure the books would still be equally enjoyable for adults.

This author is one of the best ever, and I can say that as I am in my 60s. All ages can read her books. I am hoping she has more with these characters. They are addictive in a good way. Bless you Ms. A

What a great way to end my favorite series!! I think it was the last book anyway. There was just the right amount of closure. I will miss reading about the lives of these amazing characters: Gabi, Marcello, Lia, Luca, Rodolfo. I still stand by my declaration that this is my all time favorite series!
Even though Luca's picture was on the cover I think it told more of Lord Rodolfo Greco's story. Greco was such a great character. We've been through a lot with him, lots of ups and downs. Luca was entertaining as always in this one, less serious than in Bourne.
I love the heroines! Gabi and Lia are kick butt kind of girls who won't get pushed around. These two novellas were more Lia's story than Gabi's. It was fun to see where Lia would take us. She's brave with a kind heart.
If you love the River of Time series like I do, you have to read this last installment. It's just as wonderful as the earlier books. If you haven't read this series drop everything you are doing and READ! You won't regret it.

Once again, Lisa T. Bergren has provided an awesome reading experience. Tributary is a wonderful addition to her River of Time series. Once I started reading it, I couldn't stop until it was finished. This author provides a masterpiece every time that she writes.

I've pretty much come to expect that I'm going to adore anything that Ms. Bergren writes at this point. Before I even picked up this book, I KNEW I'd love it. So, I tried to take a step back and be impartial.
What I love most about this series is that, even though, I always look forward to the next installment of the books, each of them leaves me satisfied at the end. Each of the books is amazing on its own. Tributary falls right in line with that formula.
I don't want to ruin the other books for any of you that haven't read them yet. So, if you aren't up-to-date then you may want to stop reading. Just a warning.
What I loved about Tributary, in particular, is that each of the characters/couples got their time in the spotlight.
Gabi and Marcello, now happily married, are not as much in the spotlight as they were in the first three books, but I still got enough of them to make me happy. Their sweet, endearing love still shines through as they face new struggles and hardships, while dealing with Firenze and knowing that the Plague is coming in a few years. These two are always going to be one of my all-time favorite couples. I can't. Get. Enough.
Lia and Luca. Ah, Lia and Luca. These two are KILLING me with their relationship! They've been flirting MERCILESSLY with each other forever, and I just can't take ANYMORE!!! Okay, with that being said, I flippin' LOVE their relationship. I love the way it's a slow-building--but intense--dance that promises to please.
As for Greco, well, let's just say that if you're a Rudolfo fan, this is the book for you. You'll get plenty of him. And, he is just as dreamy as he has been in the last few books.
Everything that was lovable about the previous books in this series, is still prevalent in TRIBUTARY. There are handsome Italian men that fight for their women's safety. There are strong women who, despite their propensity for trouble, have the strength to fight alongside their men. And there's also some serious character growth. From the beginning of this series to now, I've noticed that the ladies Betarrini have gone from unsure high-schoolers to self-sufficient women.
Chances are, if you've read the other books in this series, you'll be picking this up without my recommendation. BUUUUT, if you haven't read this series before, go get it. Now. :)

Great, great read!
Tributary is mostly Lia's story. We also find a new friend in this marvelous novella!
Like in the previous books we travel back to 14th century Italy--to Castello Forelli and the She-Wolves of Siena. Again there are batlles and tough knights to protect our beloved Betarrini sisters. And of course there is sweet romance, honor, loyalty and brotherhood.
If you have read the other books in this series, you will want to read this one, too!

Tributary was an amazing book, just like all the other books in the River of Time Series. Lisa T. Bergren did a fantastic job once again. This is now one of my favorite books (along with the others in the series). This book had all the things I like in books including wonderful characters, great descriptions, Italy, romance, and much more. I recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a fantastic book, but I reccomend reading the other Waterfall, Cascade, Torrent, and Bourne first. The only problem was that the book ended. I could go on, but I don't want to spoil the book.
