He got form a partnership with a major U.S. company for exploitation of phosphate in the Burkina Faso, border with Niger.

The vast majority of companies operating in Africa, extract the continent's natural resources to process the raw material far away, generating income and employment in other regions of the planet, except in Africa.

The partnership signed by Jonathan Makeba aims at the extraction and processing of phosphate in African territory, exporting the product ready for final consumption.

Besides this new type of exploration / processing / export, there are also investing in social aspects such as technical schools, health posts, basic sanitation and so on.

The technicians that come out of these schools have a mission to propagate new techniques to increase agricultural production, especially in the Sahel countries to alleviate hunger throughout the region.

Jonathan Makeba believes that this new type of partnership can serve as a model for other African countries, generating thousands of jobs and improving lives across the continent.

However, the forces of corruption are enough strong to create all sorts of problems.

A movement started in Paris by the followers of Jonathan Makeba, against corruption in Burkina, can change the whole direction and destiny of African nations.
