Overview

This One Book Can Stop Obama's Tyranny
The USA or the USSA?
The United States of America or the Union of Socialist States of America?
That is the question.

Will President Obama transform the greatest engine of freedom the world has ever known into a Stalin-like dictatorship? Or can the American people expose and rid themselves of this regime?

Is the most polarizing president in our history transforming us into Caracas or Beijing? Moscow or Tehran?

Trillions in new debt. His solution? Print more money, crippling American taxpayers and our children with unlimited debt while corrupt crony supporters continue to loot our economy.

His attorney general has shipped weapons to Mexico, turning our southern border into a war zone as gangs of drug thugs and human traffickers endanger the citizenry of America.

He's hobbled the most powerful military in the world, reducing the U.S. Navy to the smallest force since 1930 and rendering us unable to maintain our advanced weapons and technological advantages over the enemies at our gates.

And what does Obama do as Iran spews genocidal dictates, promising to "kill all Jews" and "annihilate Israel"? He abandons our ally and continues to push a "diplomatic" solution to this threat.

Obama is transforming us into a second-class nation, with communists and Islamists given free rein to expand their power.

As Obama accrues power with little opposition and his oppression creeps down from the top, the American people must stop the tyranny!

Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

His supporters praise him "the blazing flamethrower of truth"; his detractors denounce him as an "a party of one" radio extremist who preaches hatred and bigotry. Whatever our judgments, there is no ignoring Michael Savage, the host of a nationally syndicated talk show and the author of this standalone sequel to his bestselling Trickle Up Poverty. As the full title suggests, Trickle Down Tyranny aims its full quiver of arrows at "Barack Lenin," the president who he argues is determined to bring down America as we know. Like his previous books, Savage's new onslaught is certain to rouse controversy and support.

Sallye Leventhal

Publishers Weekly
It’s difficult to exaggerate Savage’s animus toward Barack Obama. For the conservative radio host, Obama is a “naked Marxist,” who, if re-elected, will make himself “president for life.” Savage (Trickle Up Poverty) tries to lacerate many areas of the Obama administration’s domestic and foreign policy, as well as alleged instances of malfeasance and corruption in the Justice Department and elsewhere. Unfortunately, he clutters his narrative with charges such as the claim that the Occupy Wall Street movement is characterized by “public nudity, masturbation and sexual intercourse... carried out daily.” Worse, the book is marred by name-calling (even Newt Gingrich is seen as a “fat, frumpy, unprincipled charlatan”) and McCarthyite smears (Savage calls the Jewish Funds for Justice, a liberal philanthropic organization, “a communist-socialist group”). Savage’s sources prove flimsy; for example, he bases his statement that Michelle Obama went on a “2½-year million vacation spending spree” on an article in the Daily Mail, a British tabloid. Savage engages his fans with wild allegations and conspiracy theories, such as the claim that Obama is “determined to give our southwestern states to Mexico”: shrill fearmongering that his listeners have come to accept from a hardened ideologue. Agent: Ian Kleinert, Objective Entertainment. (Apr.)
Washington Times
“A how-to guide on fixing our national crisis. ... A damning critique not only of the Obama administration but also the half of the population that put him in office and still supports his devastating policies.”
Library Journal
Host of the No. 3 radio program in the nation, heard by nearly eight million listeners a week and syndicated across the United States in over 300 markets, Savage continues his rant against "Barack Lenin." Not a book to make everyone happy, but the 250,000-copy first printing and one-day laydown on April 3 indicates that the audience will be large.
Kirkus Reviews
One of talk radio's most inflammatory voices fires a damp squib at the president, the liberal media and society in general. Renowned for exploding into fits of vulgar profanity at the slightest provocation, Savage (Trickle Up Poverty: Stopping Obama's Attack on Our Borders, Economy, and Security, 2010, etc.) has long inspired theories that his rabidly conservative posturing is an elaborate put-on. Whether or not his radio persona is a calculated ruse, it is clear that his books are an afterthought, a sideshow with no other aim than generating profit. To say that Trickle Down Tyranny was phoned in would be too generous to a man who has made a fortune by shouting apoplectically. Most of the book reads like a high school intern combed through a year of his transcripts and deliberately selected the most soporific snippets, stitching them together at random into a manuscript-length document. Equally sure that he's sharing secret knowledge that no one else has the courage or wherewithal to state and that everything he says is just common sense, Savage provides little substantiation for his assertions. He delves deeply into arcane conspiracy theories involving the Trilateral Commission, George Soros and the Weather Underground. The author vaguely sorts his fiery statements ("The Occupy Wall Street demonstrators have one important characteristic in common with Barack Obama and Adolf Hitler: They're blatantly anti-Semitic") and rhetorical questions ("Is Holder going to pardon the Gitmo terrorists…and then release them with compensation because they were freedom fighters…? Is this part of Obama's overall plan to grant amnesty to illegal aliens in order to get reelected?") into sections dealing with finance, foreign policy, energy and so on, but no other organization or structure is in evidence. Fans of Savage's radio program should stick to the genuine article; opponents of President Obama should turn to someone whose sympathies are not so mercenary and self-serving.

Another spot on book by Mr. Savage. Very, Very, intelligent person. Tells it like it is. Liberals don't like the light shining on them - they do not like to get out from under their rocks. A great read. Hopefully we will be able to get away from this socialist government soon.

Another right wing scare myth novella for worn out policies that don't work. Same party line for Repubs - tear down policies they don't agree with but offer no viable, progressive solutions and forget failures like George Bush.

Publisher's Weekly clearly doesn't realize that Savage is an independent, which is why he can criticize even Newt Gingrich without being out of character. It's not a RINO book.
Mr. Savage footnotes source material and backing to his facts. If you want the truth, read it. Thank goodness someone with this reach is courageous enough to be the lone voice screaming in the darkness this country has fallen under.
    A stimulating and inspiring read!

    Highly Recommend!!!

Michael Savage is extremely insightful with "Trickle Down Tyranny"! He sheds light on what the mainstream media overlooks and informs the literate public about modern day politics. He has written almost 30 books, is very well accomplished, and Dr. Savage knows what he's talking about!

Hyperbolic nonesense mixed with not even half truths and dubious assumptions -- to say nothing of the historical errors and mischaracterizations. Typical right week noise devoid of intellectual content. And his claim to be an animal protector is even more laughable.

Highly recommended...you will be right scared

Reading this is enough to make a preacher cuss about this administration. Mr. Savage puts forth many a scenario that may well seem outlandish and fearmongering. BUT, he backs them up with facts and one factual citation after another. I have recommended this book to all my right thinking friends, that's nearly everyone in case you're interested. None have written back to tell me that I'm nuts for reading this and, better yet, believing Mr. Savage's findings. So...get it, paper copy or electronic on Nook. It's more that worth your time to read and comprehend.

A painful book to read... but in a "good" way... because the truth hurts, and ultimately, the truth is GOOD for you. Think of reading this book as if you were pouring hydrogen peroxide on a gaping, open, bleeding wound. You'd hate every minute of it, but in the end, you would be MUCH better off. With regard to naysayers' reviews of this same book, I ask: Are the words in this book making you feel "pain"? If so, may I suggest that you step back and at least wonder, is it a "bad" or a "good" pain that you revolt against?

What a page turner! Recommended for the new or seasoned Savage fan

Like many of Dr. Savage's other books this book is a page turner. Nearly every argument Dr. Savage makes in this book is supported with notes and citations. This is a very academic approach which I believe lends a great deal of credibility to Dr. Savage's work.

Recommended reading for the new or seasoned Michael Savage fan. If you enjoyed any of his other books this one will not disappoint. If you have ever heard Michael Savage on the radio you will recognize the writing style immediately. The emotion and use of exclamation points conveys the same level of passion as his broadcasts.

This book will make you think twice about some of the news you hear and perhaps more importantly, it will make you think!
