Tricks and Treats delivers private stories about homo- and heterosexual encounters that sex workers usually confide only in each other. Not another “why I became a prostitute” book, it provocatively turns the tables on the buyers of sex, giving you a window into sex workers’lives. Tricks and Treats gives you straightforward accounts by sex workers to help you understand the pleasures, attractions, and truths of this profession.

This book is the first book I've read that really let me know what sex workers (escorts, porn actors, strippers) really think about their clients. It's like an insider's diary. These stories are so diverse it's amazing: male, female, and transgendered sex workers, from street hustlers to high-end callgirls. There are stories by famous people (Nina Hartley, Scott O'Hara, Carol Queen, Tony Valenzuela), but the ones that really amazed me were the ones by ordinary guys and girls on the street. This book is incredibly smart, direct, and entertaining. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
