Excellent, fast-paced read, but not for the casual reader. I've already read the second, third and fourth book, and knowing the ending of this storyline made the dark portions of book one well worth enduring. There are lots of characters to remember and multiple storylines that weave together, but I found it all strangely captivating and the characters, though some more rough around the edges than others, curiously endearing. A story that will stay with me for some time.

Triorion: Awakening is great SF. Lush, moving, intricate. Extremely well-written and even cerebral. Dense, textured, layered with complexity and all the trappings that SF readers love. I tore through Book 1 in one day and rushed to buy Book 2.

A huge world with great characters and a compelling storyline. A little intimidating to start since there were so many characters to familiarize with, but once I did, I couldn't stop reading. Can't wait for book two!

Triorion: Awakening was very enjoyable to read. The story is well written and moves at a nice pace. The universe created by the author is lively and full of adventure.
The triplets, who you get to know very well, are each unique and feel genuine. You travel with them to diverse, imaginative worlds and get to meet a variety of species and personalities. Truly a great experience!

I was very entertained throughout the entire book and I highly recommend it. A very suspenseful and engaging story. If you are a science fiction fan you won't be disappointed. I really look forward continuing the series in Triorion: Abomination.
