    TOTAL RIP OFF

    The first half (major history i.e. setting) of the book i.e. SERIES is missing. This is where a negative reader rating is needed.

    Warning: Not the Lensman version

    This book is not the first book in the Lensman series. It's the original, 1934 "Triplanetary" story, which is now public domain, combined with the public domain "Masters of Space" story. If that's what you're looking for, everything is fine - please enjoy the book.

    However, if you're looking for the 1948 Triplanetary book which begins the Lensman series, this isn't it. That book was created when Smith reworked this earlier story and added additional material essential for enjoying the Lensman series. So, don't be misled.
