Weddings are a minefield for Eli Murdoch. Each time he goes to one, he falls into bed with the same woman--Tara Swenson! But a relationship between a footloose soldier and a homebody can never work. Can it?

Tara can't seem to keep her panties on and her legs together around her former high school crush. But she wants more than wham bam, thank you ma'am. Although Captain Hard Body is very good at that!

When he returns for a third wedding, Tara's faced with a man trained to outmaneuver her! So she makes the first offensive move. Directly into Eli's very willing arms...

Meet the Author

Jennifer LaBrecque grew up with a passion for reading. In fourth grade, she wrote a short story for a class assignment. The teacher swore it moved her to tears. She also fast gained a reputation as a class clown in school. She had set her course.

Although, Jennifer began college on a journalism scholarship, she graduated with a degree in marketing. She went on to work in the buying department of an international athletic footwear retailer.

However, what she loved most about that job was regaling her co-workers with funny stories in the break room. Following a stint as a freelance writer, proofreader, and public relations consultant, Jennifer couldn't ignore the obvious. She began to write romance.

Today, Jennifer juggles her inquisitive, delightful daughter, the pest control company which she co-owns with her heroic husband, four bad cats, a cherished dog, and writing romantic comedy. In her spare time, reading remains a passion, as does hiking, and talking.

She loves to hear from readers.

    Good

Could have been a great read if it had of had more than 50 pages - but for the length, it was really good short story,

    Good read but short

Definately a good read but only 50 pages if the story line had been written out to a real length book it would have been great Although short good to read for a short time waiting in an office or when you just want to relax for a few!!

I feel like the story could have been longer and explained more about the feelings they have for each other.Rather than rush though it.

    great read-enjoyable-quick read

50 pages on nook 1st edition, but well worth the money. Kept reader's interest. Great storyline. Just enough romance with plot. Can't wait to get the other books in this great series.

    Short

This is a short story about two characters who are determined not to hook up again at another friend's wedding. The two leads can't stop the steamy attraction from happening. While the female lead opens herself up to the male lead, he ignores it at first selfishly then for he feels it is for her own good. The last chapter has a role reversal for the female lead that is too out of character. This is a story that while steamy just leaves too much else out.
