I'm new to Savannah J. Frierson so was intrigued by a friend's review on Goodreads. Always one for a good HEA story with some depth, this seemed to fit the bill and be a slight departure from what I've been reading of late. First the whole premise of "Trolling Nights" with one friend never having her own fun while playing den mother to her full grown girlfriends/fellow business owners seemed ridiculous to me. Once, I got beyond that and we meet Tim...let the swooning begin! This was quite possibly THE sweetest romance I've ever read - at some points I thought the hero, Tim, couldn't possibly be THAT perfect (but this is FICTION after all!). In any case, as a whole the characters, dialogue and storyline were very real. The military and interracial themes (not just between H/H but the friends too) were convincing and well-executed as well. Both the H/H and the supporting characters were quite likable - even Courtney who grated on my nerves. But that relationship was totally realistic and much needed in a novel that was otherwise syrupy sweet! The chemistry between Tim and Bevin is combustible early on; in part I expected a more erotic novel, so I was somewhat surprised by the lack of smexin'. There are a few steamy scenes before H/H actually do the deed and there's lots of dirty talk from Tim throughout, but this is not erotica (IMO). This is all about the romance and emotion between H/H, friendship, and family. I will gladly read more from this author...I wouldn't be opposed to a series with Tim and Bevin's friends either (hint, hint).

    Ok

There are two Trolling Night books. Trolling Night and Trolling Night Interlude. Trolling Nights Interlude is a short story. My review is based on Troling Nights which is full story. I would rate this book 2.5 stars. It was ok read. The story nor the characters were interesting. The language is quite vulgar for my taste. Being Plumville is the best book this author has written.

    Don't believe the hype

This book was not that great. There were grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors all up in through this book. Not to mention the way the heroine and the hero's relationship progress was way too fast. I know it's not real but give me a better reason to believe.

A true love story that has no shades

I love this book. In the realms on interracial romance novels, I must say that this sets the bar high. The story focuses on two individuals who find love and strength in each other--and the focus is not "he's white" or "she's black", but instead on past tough experiences that both characters have to face to move on in their relationship.

This book is a novel about falling in love. The characters were so well written (in comparison to so many interracial novels out there) and you really end up liking Bevin and her Alabama hunk Tim.

Aside from all of that this book was so enjoyable to read and it was touching. It's so great to know that an interracial romance novel CAN be written out there that stands in the realms of even my favorite romance writers like Jane Anne Kretz! I will keep a look out for you Ms. Savannah Frierson! :)
